So last night at dinner Blake said we had a sub in art today. I said oh, so. She showed us a book and it had things inappropriate. I said what was it, he said "no" it's inappropriate. He then told me it was a naked blue lady and it showed her boobs. He was really worried about this. I talked with his teacher, she went and looked at the book and told me the name. Here is the picture that he was so worried about.

It's not as bad as expected, but I'm really happy that he felt that it was inappropriate. It shows that he is listening to the words that are taught to him.

Scary month

A week or so before Christmas Alexus came to us with this bump on her neck, Chuck and I were both REALLY worried, so we took Alexus in. The doctor was very blunt and said that it COULD be cancer, but that she didn't think that it was.She thought it was just some fatty tissue. She told us to watch Alexus, and if she started to act strange,more tired, bruises, not her normal, or the bump got bigger to bring her in immediately. If it wasn't gone in 3 weeks that we should bring her back in then they would start tests. I got this very yucky feeling. I felt like we were up for a crazy couple of years. On the way home Alexus started to ask questions.

A - What is cancer? Me - it means your sick

A - What would I have to do ? Me - take some medicine

A - what if it doesn't go a way and they have to do surgery? Me - well we will deal with it then.

A - I'm scared about the surgery part I have never had anything like that before.

I tried to tell her that everything was going to be fine. By no means was I going to go all the way into what cancer REALLY was and what could happen. I thought that if we have to go down that road I would tell her then. I made sure that I stayed away from the computer. I knew that I could really freak myself out.

The next night some great friends changed their plans and came over so that Dave and Chuck could give her a blessing. I still felt yucky about everything. The next day I felt okay to look at the computer and then I also talked with Chuck's mom. She told me that she had, had some bumps, and that they had gone away. I felt more and more like it WAS just fatty tissue and that everything was going to be fine.

Now almost 3 weeks later the bump is almost gone. I know that the blessing helped. It is amazing the things the Lord can do. We are so Blessed.

At the end of September Carly started climbing IN and OUT of her crib. That is when we decided that is was time to take the crib down. These are some of the places that we found her in the next couple of weeks! She is now in a regular bed after we found one for a great deal online!!

There was a ton of snow on our back deck so, Chuck told the kids that he would give them hot coco if they would do snow angels in there bathing suits, so Alexus ran and put hers on, Then started to think about it. Blake said that he would do it in just his pj bottoms. Neither of then really did it, but both sort of tried. Well Chuck decided that he would show the kiddos how it was really done and here is the result!

I normally like the snow, but now that we live on this big hill, I'm not so fond of it. I wouldn't mind a little bit, but a foot and half is TOO MUCH! Kids kids seemed to have fun in it!

This is my new best friend!

For the last 6 weeks I've been working my butt off. I wake up every morning at 4:45 and go and workout before Chuck leaves for work! I love it. I love coming home and still having some quite time before the kids wake up. For those of you that don't know I'm NOT a morning person, but I've done a great job. I've lost some weight, but what is even better is that my clothes fit better and I have energy! I can't wait for spring so I can start playing softball again! There is a little update on my life!

Carly is 2! She is so stinkin cute. During the day she had some friends come over and had cupcakes. They were so nice they even brought a present "mama tato" Mrs. Potato Head, and "princess" a Little people princess. She loves them both. Then that night family came over and had cake. She loved opening the present and had such a great time. Thanks to everyone that celebrated with us.

Alexus

Blake by his door!

Alexus is in 4th grade and Blake is in 1st. They both were really excited to start school. Blake had a tough time with school the first week. He would cry as he left the house almost every day. He said that school was to long to many recesses and that he missed me. It was a big change from half day kindergarten. The first couple of weeks he was exhausted!Now everything is great. They both do really well in school. Blake keeps surprising me with how well he does with everything. I knew that he was smart, but I think that he needed some better self esteem, now he feels better about himself and you can tell, poor boy!

Last Friday Chuck flew to Houston for his youngest brother's wedding. We all wanted to go, but it was to much $. I couldn't ask my parents because it was my mom's last FREE weekend before school started. He had a great time being with his family. He said the temple was great and the reception was beautiful.

Sunriver

From Chuck's dad's house we headed to Sunriver. We had never been there, but Chuck had some classes there for work, so we went. We had a good time. I forgot my camera when we went swimming and biking, but the kids had a great time. We stayed at the pool for 4 hours and had a blast. Carly loved going down the slide. The kids did really well in the water. I hope that we can go again next year.

This is a picture of the kids up in the loft in the place that we stayed. We wouldn't let them go up there until just before we left. We were worried that Carly would follow them up there. You can see that there in NO railing. To scary for me!

Grandpa and Grandma's house

We went to see Grandpa and Grandma's new house. (Chuck's dad and Alma) They are moving to Chiloquin, Oregon. About 30 minutes north of Klamath Falls. Out in the middle of now where, but it is so pretty there. We had a good time. There house is almost done, just a few finishing touches left.

She is 9 years old. I can't believe that she is 9. There are days that i wonder where the time has done. It seems like I blink and another year is gone. On her birthday we had family over for cake and ice cream and opened presents. It was nice to be with everyone.

The next week she had some friends over and they all went to Oaks Park.
They had so much fun.

We went to the beach and stayed in this little place, it was okay, but dinner was amazing! We went to this place named Bennett's' in Grayland, WA. From the oust side it looked OK, but the Food was great. I will go back there just for the food. I had the BEST stake that I have ever had!. The best stake before was from Bobby Flay's restaurant in Vegas. Chuck had wild coho with some strawberry glaze. He said that it was so good. We both had clan chowder too. The base was really smooth and the clams weren't chewy at all. The clams were the perfect size, not to big at all. To top it all off the chef came out and talked to us. He wanted to make sure the food was really good. He was really nice. He said that they make 80 gallons of clam chowder a week. WOW !

Scary

We had a scare about a week ago. Blake had been at the beach with my dad. He woke up the next morning and his hip hurt . It was a little stiff. It continued to get worse that day. When they got home that night it hurt to much to walk! I gave him some Motrin and took him to bed. The next morning Alexus woke me up, Blake was crying, his leg really hurt. So off to the doctor. They didn't see anything wrong, it was weird for a young boy to have hip pain. He sent us to the hospital for x-rays and blood tests. Chuck met us at the hospital, I was sure that Blake was going to freak out about getting his blood drawn. He didn't at all. He sat on Chuck's lap and even watched the whole thing, he is much better then I. The x-rays were easy. Everything came back normal. So they said keep with the Motrin and if it hurts more, get red or swollen or he gets a fever go to the Emergency room. I was a little worried about the whole thing but this same thing happened to Alexus when she was 18 months old. They did the same tests and it was the same outcome. I guess I have strange kids!

Today was the last day of school. Blake went to school a little early. They got to have a BBQ and then got to have their own field day with just the kindergarten class. He was not happy about this being the last day of school. He said that he was sad because he wasn't going to see his teacher everyday any more. What cute kid!

Blake graduated from Kindergarten on Friday! He was so stinkin cute. I can't believe how much he has grown this year. He had a great teacher and made some really good friends.

Another Feis

Alexus had another Feis. She had be practicing really hard the last couple of weeks. I was trying to get here to smile when she danced and she would have nothing to do with it. She said that it was to hard to smile and dance at the same time. I gave up.

She wakes up Saturday, a little nervous. Chuck made her whatever she wanted for breakfast and then gave her a blessing. She seemed really happy, but still was NOT going to smile when she danced!

She gets up for her first dance and what do I see on her face???? A SMILE, not a fake one but a real smile. We all laughed. She smiled in all 5 of her dances. You could tell by the smile that she was having fun!

She had 5 different dances to do. 4 of them had anywhere from 8 - 11 girls in each group to dance against. Then the trophy dance had 20 girls in it. She placed in each dance. She got 2 first places and 3 second places. We were shocked that she got 1st place on the trophy dance. We had prepared her for maybe getting nothing. She was really happy and surprised to. I guess she'll be dancing for another year.

Who is smarter? Chuck this man can just skim over something and knows it right away. He passed the CPA exam the first time, that doesn't normally happen!

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you are facing the bed, it's Chuck. He is closer to the door. Where ever we sleep I make him sleep closer to the door.

Some light hit the diamond and I saw the sparkle.The 2nd time he got a horse drawn carriage in town town Portland and asked me again out there. They both where great. Chuck and I started out this month going to Chicago, Chuck had a class. We had 5 days with out the kids. This was my first time leaving Carly for longer then a day. When we first got there it was raining. We jumped on the "L" and headed down town for some PIZZA. The best, with a corn meal crust and fresh chunky tomato sauce. The deep dish took 45 minutes to cook. It was only 9 inch pizza and we couldn't finish it. I will never look at pizza the same after having that. We then headed for Navy Pier. It was cold and rainy. What do you expect for the windy City. We headed back to the hotel.

The next day we headed back out, but it was SUNNY and Warm! This was the last day that we could do a lot of looking around.

We went back out to Navy Pier. We wanted some pictures. We also had some great hot dogs . They were yummy.
This is the BEAN in Millennium Park. It was way cool . It's a reflective ball. We took several pictures of ourselves in it. We continued to walk around. All of Chicago. Before dinner we went to Sears tower. We went up 103 floors.
This is the view out the window. It was really neat up there. There were windows all the way around. The next day I laid out by the pool and read "Sarah Quilt", good book. It was so nice, in the mid 80's. That night we went to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. I loved looking at all of the music memorabilia. Food was good to. The next day I continued to read and then we went to a movie. This theater was brand new and HUGE. It was only $10 for the BOTH of us. We saw Ironman, GOOD. Had a good dinner. I finished my book and started "Twilight". This was a GREAT book. I'm hooked. I'll be reading the rest of the series.

We came home and we were so happy to see the kids. It was a great break. Now we are preparing to leave this weekend for a wedding at Cooper's Spur. Then off to Disney world in June. Can't wait for that.

This month Chuck turned 33 and I 29. Miss Carly turned 18 months. Carl was huge, Still! We was 30 lbs and 34 inches tall. We had a great time during Spring Break. The kids and I went with my parents to the beach. This way Carly's first time going to the beach. She love it. She knew just what to do. She picked up she shovel and bucket and started digging in the sand. Filling her bucket with sand. When it's all filled up dumping it out. Then stomping all over her creation. She wanted to be like Alexus and Blake and put her feet in the water, not a good idea, to COLD.

A couple weeks later we had a new baby join the extended Taylor family. My kids finally got a cousin that was some what close to their age, at least Carly did. Sabrina, Chuck's sister, had a baby boy David. He was super cute!

Lets start with Christmas. it was fun we had a great day. We opened presents at the house, then off to my parent to open more. Then Chuck's family came over to our house for Dinner. We ate and talked and ate and played Wii and talked and played the Wii some more. It's so nice to be in a house that we can have people over and enjoy each others company. I really loved watching Carly open presents. She didn't quite understand. She was very happy to to her snacks as presents, I think that they were half way gone before we finished open the rest of the gifts. Oh one more thing...... It snowed! a trace, but I'll take anything on Christmas.

Every year my kids dress up as a theme, last year it was Star Wars, we've also done Charlie Brown and Lucy, Peter pan and Tinkerbell. Now that Carly is here we had to figure out something that could do at least 3 people. We decided to do The Wizard of Oz. Alexus was The Wicked Witch,Blake - Tin man and Carly - Dorthy. They had great time. Carly even said trick treat, so cute! I know that they like dressing together, because they are already trying to figure out what they are going to do for next year. I know that they won't want to do this every year, so I better do till I can! Does anyone have some good ideas for next year?

The house was done at the beginning of Oct. It sat till the 16th so we could do our first walk through. Then we walked through again on the 23rd and we got the keys that day! On Thursday we had movers unload the storage unit and move it all into the house. That was definitely the way to go. Stand around and point where you want things to go. Carly was really excited when she saw all of our stuff, it was like she knew that we were HOME. We've been here now for almost three weeks. Life is still crazy, but we are getting there. All but 2 boxes are unpacked, cars are in the garage. Now we are just trying to figure out where we want everything. I really enjoy not having to drive to get the kids. The BUS is heaven. The next thing to do is paint, we know all the color, but we have to buy it, and do it!

My little baby is 1. I'm so sad! I know that we are having no more babies, and to see her growing up so fast make me want to cry. She still is the happiest thing in the world. Always smiling and ready to play. We didn't do anything big for her birthday, we were living with my parents and there was NO ROOM! She open just a couple of presents and then had cake, she loved it. 1 year check up, 28lbs and almost 33 inches! 1oo % for both. She is in clothes Alexus wore at 27months, when Blake was born!

So I know that I needed to catch up. Between the house selling and moving Alexus turned 8. Wow time goes by so fast. We had a little party at C & C. (my house was a mess) Then later that day we had family over. She is getting tall and so mature, most of the time. She is still mt little drama queen! Loves to read and draw. She still loves dance and is always getting better!

The last week has been a rOlLeR cOaStEr!!! The house almost didn't sell. The silly man tried to tell us that he was short $2000. He told us that a week before we were to close. So Chuck and I got to be stressed all week. Finally on Weds. they said that they could do it, but we did not believe it. They called us once everything was signed. The next six weeks will be crazy!

SOLD!!!

Well the house sold and looks like we will have to be out of the house by the end of the month at the latest. This has been a little overwhelming, but I'm happy that it is done. We dealt with these people for a week and a half before we agreed on the price and everything. Lets just but it this way they LOW BALLED us big time at first, but in the end everything will be fine.

We have been packing and trying to sell things. Chuck sold his furniture speakers, for those of you that have seen them you know what I'm talking about. We are trying to sell his old Merc too. This makes him a little sad, and I told not to if he doesn't want to , but he is going too. I promised him that he can get something different in a couple of years.

We will be moving in with my parents, YES I KNOW I'M CRAZY, but they offered and this will save us at least 5, 000, with rent and everything. It could be anywhere from 5 - 8 weeks. I wouldn't do it if it was summer. Thanks goodness everyone will be in school. Last time I saw the house it had a roof and some pluming!! EXCITING

The last couple weeks Alexus and Blake have been on a baseball team. Alexus loves it and Blake is starting too. He just wants to play basketball, poor Blake.

Alexus' Birthday is in a week and half, and she will be 8! (cry, cry) I can't believe that she is that old. She is starting to look more mature, as she would put it. She'll be baptized on Sept. 29th, everyone will be here. She is really excited.

Blakey boy is happy to be starting school at the same as Alexus. I know that he will do great. He love to play with Carly. He gets her laughing like on one else.

Miss Carly is walking, well 5- 10 steps all the time. She's at the point that when she falls down she crawls to the wall or whatever to climb back up to walk again. What a GIRL. She has two new words uh oh, and ball. She also loves SUPER BABY.

Glasses

Today Alexus went to the eye doctor. She has been telling me for months that she has headaches above her eyes. She also said that it was hard to see things that were really far away. I told her that it sounded like she might need glasses. She wasn't really happy about that, but I told her it would be fine, and that she would be really cute. So we went and sure enough, she needed them. She is near sighted. When she put her glasses on she was surprised how well she could see everything. She is her mother's daughter. She gets more like me all the time!

Last week was the last week of school and Blake graduated. He is no longer in pre-school he is in kindergardon. He is really excited. He will miss his teacher Kim, she was great. At graduation they sang a little song, The Busy Bee song, and each child said what they wanted to be when they go up. Blake said that he wanted to be a Doctor, looks like Chuck and I will be taken care of when we get old!!! Blake had to get shots so he can go to school, 3 of them yuck! He didn't even cry. (That's way better then I have ever done.) He took it like a man!

Feis (Irish dance competition )

A couple of weeks ago Alexus was in her first Feis! She was a little nervous, but you would've never known. She did a great job. She danced 5 different dances and got a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place. Each dance had anywhere from 12 - 25 girls competing. I was hoping that she would at least place once. I wasn't expecting anything like this!

9 Months

Miss Carly had her 9 months check up and she is 25 lbs and 31 1/2 inches tall! What a big girl! Her newest thing is pulling herself up and letting go and just stand there. She'll be walking in no time. :( It makes me sad. My baby is growing up. The poor thing had to get shots yesterday too. All of her clothes are getting too small, I guess that means I will just have to go and buy more. That is just to bad! On Saturday we got the swing out and Carly loved it. She kept pointing and saying (it sounds like )waz tha.(what's that) To day she had her first ride on the Merry-go-round.She didn't now what to think at first, then she kept waiving after she would pass my mom and I standing by the side watching.

Since coming home Carly has turned 8 months and changed a lot. She crawls everywhere and pulls herself up on just about everything. She is a big girl. Chuck's newest name for her is lead baby. She weighs 26 lbs and 31 1/2 inches, lots bigger then the other two. She loves the camera, when I got it out she attacked me.

Texas

We went to Texas to see Grandma,Grandpa and Aunt Britt. We had a great time. We flew and the 3 kids did really well. We went to the childrens muesem, the Zoo and NASA. We had so much fun. Of corse Alexus had the most fun riding horses. If she could have she would've rode more. She did a really good job.
While we were in Texas Carly got her first tooth, I would've never known if I hadn't put my finger in her mouth. Blake also turned 5 1/2. He was so excited. I don't know why. Britt graduated while we were there. Driving there was crazy. all over there were signs that said caution ICE.Chuck and I asked Joyce if it freezes at a different temp in Texas then in Washington. She laughed. Also there are tons of trucks there and they go where ever the want. If they are on the freeway and it is backed up they will drive across the grass on to a side road. We were shocked when we saw it it wasn't just 1 or 2 I think we saw 15 truck and 2 or 3 cars.

Well I know that it was been 4 months, but life has been crazy! Let start with Carly at 6 months she was 22 lbs and 30 inches tall, Yes she was the size of Alexus at 1! She continues to be a great baby and very happy. After that we ALL got sick . All 5 of us had to go on antibiotic. We had Easter and the kids had a great time at the church Easter egg hunt. Then Chuck and I decided to sell the house. We found a new house to build in salmon Creek closer to school. Since next year Blake will be in school driving back and forth would be crazy. I had A good Mothers day. Alexus and Blake classes both had Mother's day programs it was fun. Then we left for Texas!

The kids loved the snow! They slept so well after spending all day in the snow. They had four days off of school, and now the go until June 22, yuck!

4 Months old

On the 23rd Carly was for months old. She is getting so big. She is a happy baby, always smiling a laughing. She just started rolling over. She'll give you a little smirk just before she does it. On Wednesday we went to the Doctor, all I have to say is WOW! She is 27 inches long and 17.5 pounds! 100% on both! She is my BIG girl. I have her in 9 month clothes. She is the size Alexus was at 6 months.

So Thursday night was very eventful. The Three trees that were next to out house, they are there no longer. They fell on our neighbor's house. The first one fell at about 5:30. We heard this noise and went and looked out side and it hit their front porch. We got scared and got our shoes on got in the car and drove to a friends house. The other two fell, I then was crying and saying a prayer as I drove home. Happy to see that our house was okay, but the other two trees hit their house and the bathtub stopped the tree from going further into the house. SCARY and SAD.

What a night! 8 hours of sleep! I haven't gotten 8 hours of sleep in a row in months, It felt GREAT. Carly for the last 2 weeks have been sleeping 5-6 hours a night. Then last week she started going 7 or 7 and 1/2 hours. Then last night 8! After that she woke up at 8. That was a good night. Blake didn't sleep through the night until he was done nursing. I couldn't ask for a better baby.

So yesterday we went to the doctor for Carly's check up. This cute little girl is almost 13 pounds and 24 1/2 inches long. My biggest baby yet! The poor thing had to get shots, she didn't like them one bit. Her little legs were really sore. Today she is back to normal, thank goodness!

Carly is now 2 months old. She Still is a great baby! She is very smiley and alert. She tries to laugh, makes tons of different sounds. You can tell that she is getting control of her hands. She rubs her eyes and sucks on her hands. She tries to get her blanket up to her face, but can't yet. She is showing a lot of signs of being like her sister, GOING all the time! She likes to be moving around. She likes to be in the frontpack and walking around everywhere. I love seeing her get bigger!

LOST A TOOTH..... FINALLY

She came in to me
before 7 in the morning
showing me that it was
just hanging there, but
she wouldn't let Chuck
or I pull it. So Chuck
had her look at it in the
mirror with floss around
it, he bumped her arm,
and it was OUT!

I Forgot Halloween!

I forgot to do Halloween! Alexus was Princess Leaha and Blake was Darth Vader. Little Carly was Daddy's little pumpkin. We went to church for trunk or treat and Daddy took them out around the neighborhoods, they had fun, but it was COLD! Better then rain!

Well this is a great day, my little Blakey is 5. Can you believe it? He is such a great boy. Loves to go to school and play with his sisters. He also still loves dinosaurs. He likes to play rough, like any other boy. Let put this way he has a very hard head. Today for his party we are going bowling with some of his friends, then to eat and then party with family at home. What a day for the boy.

I'm going to try this!

I want friends and family to be able to see what is happening in our lives with out asking or me having to email EVERYONE!
Miss Alexus is 7 and now in the 2nd grade and loves everything to do with school. Loves math and PE. This girl can read like no other. She might not always like to but she is GREAT.
Sir Blake will be 5 next week and is a good big brother. He loves Carly so much and is always in her face, but she love is most of the time. He too is in school and loves it. He is always very busy doing something.
Little Carly is good, she is now almost 7 weeks and is still a great baby. Normally very easy and happy. She is in the sleeps a lot stage, but that is changing more everyday. We can get to smile all the time and once I got her to laugh. She is starting to look at her hands like she knows that they are attached!
I'm just trying to keep it all together and not over doing it. We are preparing for Thanksgiving and then Christmas. This is one of my favorite times of the year. I love to see the kids get so excited.
